and half the population of Gaza is under the age of 18? And even more would have been too young to vote back then. So maybe 25% of current population voted back then. meaning what 17% of current Gaza population actually voted for Hamas so me 20 odd years ago?
Add in that Hamas is oppressive towards people in Gaza in a 'vote for us or we kill ur family' kind of way .....

What Hamas did is disgusting, but using an election 20 years ago to justify the persecution and murder of civilians is not cool my man. |
