Personally, I moved out of the city altogether to one of the commuter towns in North Lanarkshire.
Born and bred in Easterhouse, but rent prices are getting stupid even there. Loads of people will look at Easterhouse rentals as being low, but that's only true if you are comparing to other areas of the city. Prices in the deep east are actually grossly higher than they used to be.
2 bedroom flats in Easterhouse are going for 400 and 500 per month these days. That's just fucking ridiculous. |
