Interesting suggestion. I have been following the construction of this bridge and it would appear that as of yet it has no official name.
As someone who cycles to Govan quite a lot I cannot wait for the bridge to open. From the area around the Transport Museum a distance saving of approximately 2 miles can be achieved over the next nearest river crossing which is the Millenium Bridge. It will also be a very attractive alternative to the Clyde Tunnel which is not an easy route to take. |
