So people have been forced out of Edinburgh and into Glasgow? This increases demand, depletes stock and leads to higher prices. It may still be cheaper in some parts of Glasgow but it's far from cheap, especially if you're a low earner.

The Glasgow trains are a lot better than people give them credit for though. My 7 day pass between Bellgrove and Hyndland is under £15
