| Comment | It's worth people knowing the LED displays at bus stops aren't tracking live times, just displaying timetabled arrival times.
For years people have assumed they're providing a live feed of ETAs but it's never been the case.
As you say, the First app tends to be fairly reliable in terms of live tracking.
One issue I experience a lot though is when there's a timetabled bus, but the app shows no bus in motion or listed arrival time. On some occasions the bus has shown up, but others, it never appears. It'd be good if they could just say "no bus running" for the time and make it clear whether it's one or the other. |
