GNU/Linux can work with them, but you aren't going to find a PC running a GNU/Linux distro in the library either!
You are, unfortunately, stuffed I think. As has been suggested, you should migrate your data on to a portable file system (I suggest exFAT) when you get the chance.
Although, if a library will let you (doubtful), you could use a bootable USB with GNU/Linux installed to access the drive. |
