| Comment | They absolutely should be held to a higher standard ! But the Israelis have lost the fucking plot, but then again so has hamas, they knew that massive attack was gonna trigger a response, and now we ( as in the rest of the world ) have a very serious potential problem where this conflict could spiral out of control fast if people don’t cool their jets. The western powers stance on the situation is plain wrong! Instead of unwavering backing for Israel, the collective response through the UN should be “ BOTH OF YOU, need to stop right now and we’re gonna put a serious solution in place to the two state plan”. The first step should be taking the running of Gaza OUT OF THE HANDS of the Israelis and replace it with a UN peacekeeping force, with a goal of eliminating the terrorism in Palestine in which Israel will contribute, these two people will NEVER achieve peace unless they learn so trust each other and work together towards a mutually beneficial goal, survival and the preservation of the peace. |
