Reading the comments it’s clear that most drivers are afraid of hitting the cyclist and injuring the child. When driving safely and at an appropriate speed that should never happen.
The OP should consider that the Highway Code was updated recently to emphasise the hierarchy on the road and the burden of responsibility towards more vulnerable road users. If you see this guy again apply the brake and slow right down.
Hopefully the introduction of the 20mph speed limit will be brought forward in Scotland. |
