Great points and I fully agree. It’s common sense really. To be aware or even suspicious that a vulnerable road user may behave erratically and yet still proceed is culpable in my opinion.

Imagine explaining that in court afterwards. Yes I had seen this cyclist before and he continually pulls out in front of me but I just carried on anyway. Your insurance company would be shiting themselves.

The 20mph speed limit was introduced in Wales recently and has not been well received at all.

If you read the studies that have been completed it has been proven that this lower speed makes little difference to progress in urban areas. What it does do is create a more harmonious atmosphere between vulnerable road users and car divers on the roads.

The next generation of drivers will be used to the new limit and be trained in that way so before long in Wales everything will be hunky-dory.
