| Comment | If I was renting I would be changing the locks so that it’s not possible for them to just enter your home on a whim when they feel like it. You just need to keep the original lock that was supplied when you moved in, and change it back to that when you leave.
Don’t be put off by thinking changing them is a big job, which requires a locksmith. You just need to change the barrel, the bit where the key goes in. Changing a barrel on a standard latch lock is a 5 minute job that you can easily do yourself, with a screwdriver. |
