Despite the issues with the 1st one caused by poor sample size and data gathering methods, the 2nd one is worse.
The 2nd was a consultation, you need to ask yourself who would take the time to fill it in?
Only people that are passionate about the issue.
That was shared on the local Facebook busybody pages and amongst similar groups. (As evidenced by the results)
Normal people wouldn't have even have known the consultation was going on
All that consultation shows is the views of less than 0.3% of the population who have enough time to fill in a long boring multipage from.
I don't think anyone seriously believes that 93% of people think fireworks should be outright banned |
