I saw Alex Harvey Band play quite a few times when they were at their peak. (Midnight Moses, Faith Healer etc). Yes they were sensational. What a stage presence. I saw him staring down a whole gang of Hells Angels at the front of the stage at one gig.
At knebworth festival SAHB got there early and commandeered the luxury trailer meant for headliners The Doobie brothers. The Doobies complained about it and Alex said to them We'll fight you for it. Choose your weapons.
