| Comment | You can’t get acne cysts drained here like in the US, private dermatology is not as common a service and even private clinics don’t do this here. You need to treat the cause of the cystic acne, not just keep draining cysts, whether that’s accutane, hormonal interventions or topical creams.
Edit: the NHS is under huge system pressures with people waiting years for urgent life changing treatment. Yes you’d would be right in assuming that they don’t want to hear about your pimple. |
