| Comment | I can’t give you any experience of this, or any other experiences, but I have a family member who spent 3 years trying to use one of these vouchers and eventually gave up. The weather needs to be absolutely perfect or they won’t go up, which can obviously be a problem in Scotland.
They had at least 6 bookings cancelled, a few on the day, once they had arrived at the venue, because the weather wasn’t right.
It can’t be helped, and I wouldn’t want to go up in anything but perfect weather, but the cancellations meant there were lots of people trying to rebook, so slots (especially weekends) were hard to get and you go back in to the queue if your booking gets cancelled.
I’d try to book directly with someone, as opposed to these experience days, and check any vouchers have a long expiration date on them. |
