I repeat again, we're not talking about 10,000 random conference-goers, we're talking about senior civil servants, politicians and actual heads of state from all 196 countries on this planet, with approximately 4,000 press attendees and then double that with NGO attendees. Glasgow is going to have its name on the front page of every newspaper in the world for a week.
Yes, you can't quantify it exactly. But it is, quite literally, THE biggest conference anyone in the world can host. There is no question it is net positive. |
