| Comment | Not the same scenario but when I stayed in Stirling I had an issue getting my deposit back, landlord had claimed it all back.
After weeks of unanswered calls emails and texts I called him up and left a voice mail on his phone. He owned the property through a Ltd company and I company house searched him, his business was registered to his home address and I went onto his Facebook and found out he had 2 daughters and his wife's name. In the voicemail I said I would go to his home address and told him where that was and he would have to explain why to his two daughters and his wife who I named at the time why a group of young men were outside with signs calling him a fraud and a con man.
Money was in my account the next day, no call or text. Just placed back in. Doesn't help your story but it felt great getting one over on someone who had a terrible landlord and didn't deserve the money. |
