Comment	You're complaining that a budget supermarket doesn't have frills & extras? Use the bread knife at home to cut as you go. The bread will stay fresher longer as well. If you are missing a bread slicer from Germany, you're probably also missing actual bread. Outside of proper bakers, most bread in the UK is crap.
