This came up a while back, and I'll still go to bat for[ Di Maggios in Royal Exchange Square](https://www.tripadvisor.com/LocationPhotoDirectLink-g186534-d733757-i45980232-Di_Maggio_s-Glasgow_Scotland.html) again.

Foods okay, not too expensive. Decent variety so everyone should find something they'll like. It'll easily handle 10 person groups. I've booked a day in advance before, even on a Friday, and they've squeezed us in.

Last time I did it they didn't charge a deposit unless it's over 10 people so you should be able to just book it without worrying about people dropping out.

It's not quite a 'diner' style place but it's got a kind of Americana Art Deco thing going on.
