Yes, meant that. It may be cheap, but it's utter garbage and should be labelled junk food, as a recent report suggested. Eating this kind of crap causes health issues and probably costs the NHS a great deal of money, which isn't good for the cost of living crises either. One example - I'm a type 1 diabetic, and it definitely fucks with my blood glucose levels, which causes a lot of problems, can lead to serious ones, compared to real bread. £4+ a loaf is stretching it a bit. I got a good one yesterday for around £3. In Germany I would pay less or even half that, although local bakeries would obviously be more expensive than supermarkets.
