| Comment | I've had a very different experience in the southside. I prefer it - easier access, picked up regularly, generally decent usage from others, plus you get the back court back to potentially do something else with without having smelly bins kicking about.
Previously, the pick up was ridiculous. 3 blue bins for 8 flats collected every 2-3 weeks or something like that? Green bins not much better. Total nonsense and they were always overflowing. The new system seems to be collecting far more often. It must save the council time and money by doing it this way which ultimately means better service - it must have been a right faff for the binmen going down all the lanes for each and every bin. |
