What I don't understand is if the council really do feel the need to remove the cone then why do they spend ten grand per year removing the cone with a Cherry Picker.
Given the number of times it has been removed why hasn't someone come up with the idea of using a long reach grabber rather like a litter picker. I mean I guess it may need to be custom made but it could be easily used over and over without the expense of hiring a vehicle to do it. |
