New word for ya: isogloss. Well it's usually used for phonetic variation but it's the linguistic word for the line dividing two regions with some kind of variation like this.
Anyway the folk in the other thread said it's used in Dumfries.
(I just find it weird not to hear it living in Glasgow tbh)
