Yes, Paisley has a lot of beautiful buildings and history surrounding it.

Lots of outdoorsy things to do....train to Lochwinnoch gives you trails, and also Glenniffer Braes is very much worth exploring (waterfalls, standing stones etc). Barshaw Park is along Glasgow road.

The council do try and have seasonal events happening, and there is a farmers market every month, as well as a few arty crafty things going on. Shopping is not really a thing now, (apart from Braehead) but there are nice places to go and have coffee and chill. Restaurants are alright as well.

Don't mind the sirens, ignore the....erm....*interesting characters* who seem to have fun with shouting their business to each other across the high street, occasionally ending up in a fight. A few buskers here and there....the new library will be opening soon, (possibly). So yeah, its not a bad place as such....its just neglected.
