I was literally in charge of getting people from Poland to the UK. In late 2000 and early 2010 there was a lot of people who wanted to come here. In late 2010s it decreased significantly after 2017 was very difficult to get anybody but more Romanians were coming. After brexit it does not make any sens to pay visa fees so there is literally no new workers coming from Poland or Romania.
