| Comment | Pedestrianize Pollokshaws road, a major thoroughfare, and where will all the cars and buses go? Do it to the whole city centre, aye, but doing it there would mean diverting all traffic onto another street, probably one not designed for it. Or do we want to knock a bunch of houses down to make a new southbound road?

(obviously the other point to make is that cycling isn't as popular here as there simply because Glasgow city centre is one big hill, something they don't have in the Netherlands) |
