>Israel keeps Palestinians in conditions that would be illegal in the west

Israel pulled out in 2005. Built the wall in 2007 after massive amounts of terrorist attacks. They also established the blockade then. So I would love to hear how that is Israel's fault.

"But they control the borders." No, they control "A" border, Egypt controls the other. What did they do? Built a wall as well, with only 1 crossing. They allow zero Palestinians to enter on a normal basis, unlike Israel, that grants 500k work visas a day for Palestinians. What is Egypt doing right now? Building an Even Bigger Wall.

Hamas is responsible for what life is like in Gaza. They s[tole the money given to the Palestinians from the international community](https://mackenzieinstitute.com/2023/11/hamass-top-leaders-are-worth-billions-heres-how-they-continue-to-grow-rich/). They [dug up water pipes](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2023/10/10/eu-funded-water-pipelines-hamas-rockets/) to build rockets and left their people without potable water. They also[hide fuel, food, and water](https://www.nytimes.com/2023/10/27/world/middleeast/palestine-gazans-hamas-food.html) for their militants while their people starve and die of thirst. They block passage south for innocents to evacuate, then they attempt to escape into Egypt, [hiding amongst the injured](https://www.nytimes.com/2023/11/03/world/middleeast/hamas-gaza-evacuees-rafah-crossing.html).

I say this because I have found most people do not realize what things are like there because they only see what their algorithm feeds them. Quite often, the view would be much different from their own eyes if they went there. In no way am I saying Israel is perfect, far from it. I have no problem stating that. I also have no problem stating that the death of civilians, regardless of their nationality, is horrible and needs to be avoided when able.

Hiding behind civilians, after targeting civilians, does not equal a free pass. It just makes you responsible for the death of all the above-mentioned civilians.

>Palestinian health authority stats are generally recognized as accurate, they literally posted the id cards of the victims so it's easily verifiable.

Palestinian health authority, as stated before, does not differentiate between militants and civilians. Let's assume every Palestinian that is female and under the age of 18 is a civilian (even though [Hamas training starts at 4 years old](https://www.businessinsider.com/hamas-kid-summer-camp-2016-8?r=US&IR=T#palestinian-youths-attended-a-military-exercise-during-a-summer-camp-organized-by-the-islamic-resistance-movement-hamas-on-august-11-2005-at-an-refugee-camp-from-the-gaza-strip-1), which is a human rights violation). With that assumption, that means statistically \~6500 civilian deaths. Horrible. Just horrible. Literally could have been avoided if Hamas decided to fight on a battlefield and not from civilian populations. However, as they pointed out, it is [not their responsiblity to protect Gazans](https://www.timesofisrael.com/top-hamas-official-claims-group-is-not-responsible-for-defending-gazan-civilians/), it is...Israel's responsibility?

Regarding the ID tags, would love a link. I have a background in AI so I would be able to see if they are legitimate / edited / duplicated rather quickly.
