Let your landlord know and ask them to come back to you with actions to improve security at the back of the building. If they broke a window to get in, then it sounds like you probably have single glazing. If you can get the landlord to put in double glazing, it's much safer and warmer. However, a lot of landlords are incommunicative arseholes who just like to take your money every month...
I would also suggest putting a note through your neighbours' doors in the building to explain what happened and suggest a WhatsApp group or email chain for you all to keep in touch. Some won't be arsed, but you'll find that some will have been there a long time and willing to be part of a wee community. |
