I only went a few times as few years back as a teenager so I can't say much, but it's fairly middle-class with lots of decent houses and somewhat decent schools. It felt quite isolated when I went though with not much immediately nearby. You would need a car to really do anything if you lived there, or otherwise expect longish walks to shops and amenities.
