| Comment | Maybe (hopefully) it was a one off. Birthday or something. Have you met them yet? This isn't probably one of the first conversations you want to have with them, mind you. Just get a general sense of what they are like...maybe chap on their door asking about something innocuous, like...erm....garden stuff, or bin day rota, I dunno. Then once you get a general vibe off them, just say you are having a housewarming party and apologising in advance for any noise because it seems these flats don't have much soundproofing. |
