| Comment | Booking ahead does not get you priority, it just dispatches your booking 10 minutes before pick up time to the drivers that are available at that time. If you want to guarantee a driver is available for you at a specific time and date then really you need to book a chauffeur/limo service where you pay a premium.
That being said there will be taxi availability. Drivers will be encouraged into work with the higher fares and many taxi drivers will not celebrate christmas anyway.
Private hire is double fare. Uber will have a multiplier probably at least 2x. Black cabs are normal metered fare plus £2.50. |
