| Comment | I've never had an issue with getting a black cab on Christmas day (travelling with our dog so black cabs are just much easier as most accept them) to get over to my mum and dad's. It's more expensive than normal, but then it's Christmas, you pay through the nose for most things since it's a major holiday.
Booking ahead on most apps, including black cabs, just releases the job 5-10 minutes before the booked time. If you need to be there by a set time, I'd order one at least 30 minutes before as long as the family don't mind you being early (I normally help my mum setting stuff up and with bits of cooking so being early isn't an issue). |
