Someone who works for me was applying for flats in Glasgow but his girlfriend was on a zero hours contract. despite having payslips showing regular income, they kept getting knocked back.
Last week she was able to secure a full time contract with her employer and they applied for a flat with this new situation and got it.
I was down as a reference for him and when it came through for me to verify his work details, there was no question about how many hours they are contracted for
TLDR: if you're struggling to get accepted for a flat on a zero hours contract, just lie. They don't check |
