Indeed they have since removed the “bleating” part of their post so as to not distract from their thanks to the local police.
Correlation to the tone of other scam posts does not itself mean anything and unless there is evidence to the contrary I’m always going to give benefit of the doubt before accusing someone.
In the end, I don’t have a decision to make if this is a scam or not because OP has repeatedly stated they are not asking for anything. I suggest everyone else respect that and not offer any. |
