I worked with a lovely polish lady a few years ago who told me there’s a national holiday in Poland dedicated to donuts - I believe it’s the equivalent of pancake day. I haven’t specifically looked around for polish donuts but it could be worthwhile trying a Polish Supermarket for some. Grosik on Alexandra Parade has a good selection of baked goods and might have some worth a try if you’re nearby.
