That's a 2D fluorescent light. It's easy enough just to buy an LED version of the lamp and remove the ballast unit.
There are two cap types for the 2D lamps however. The 4 pin and the 2 pin. Have you got the correct version? You need 4 pin which is for use with self start ballasts. The 2 pin version has the starter built into the lamp.
I might be wrong but I think the caps are interchnageable so you can fit a 2 pin into a 4 pin I believe. Of course it will not work. |
