I was good friends with a colleague who used to cycle into the City Centre to work. One time was cycling in and someone wasn't looking when opening their car door parked on the side of the road... he was seriously injured for a while from colliding with said door on his bike.
Cycle culture doesn't work very well here, even though the "People Make Glasgow" bikes can be very handy, especially for tourists. Glasgow is no Amsterdam, even if it smells like it most of the time 🤣. |
