Comment | Glasgow isn't terrible for cycling around the city centre, a decent amount of bike lanes but lots of pedestrianised areas where cycles aren't allowed which can be a pain to manoeuvrer around. Don't usually use the "PMG" bikes but when my parents come up (dad's got a bad knee so can't walk for so long and step-mum is usually on an electric scooter (Glasgow is awful for accessibility, spend a day with someone who is in a wheelchair or can't move around as freely)) they can come in handy. Always see a lot of cyclists by the Clyde in the morning with the bike lanes.
Love the electric scooters in cities like Liverpool & London. Can't see them coming here though, they'll end up in the Clyde, stripped for spare parts or in Cash Converters. |
