Their routers suck total ass (If you are with them, place your router into modem-mode and run your own router behind it) and they have terrible upload speeds. Support is utterly diabolical.
So go with someone running over OpenReach or CityFibre infra. Zen are a **proper** ISP and if you call for support you will often get an *actual* techie, their router is decent enough, and their service is good. You will pay *slightly* more for this, but you do get what you pay for.
Brawband get good reviews too, but I have not used them.
I have heard some people moan about Vodafone (principally their routing) but I can't say I have noticed any problems. Their router is good if you intend to use it for that purpose, but lacks a modem-mode and that could mean double-NAT. Again, I have not noticed issues.
The only reason I am not with Zen or Brawband is that they were not available when I switched away from VM. |
