| Comment | I live in one of these areas and it's such a fucking pain in the ass, the streets are psychotic. I fear the day there's a fire in one of the tenements, because I have witnessed fire engines unable to access my street for other reasons due to the amount of vehicles parked everywhere.
My councilors assure me that there have been parking surveys carried out and that my area will have parking regulations brought into force next year and, honestly, I welcome them. I would like to stand a chance of actually being able to park near my flat from time to time.. but it'll only make a difference if the rules are actually enforced, so I guess we'll wait and see.
Honestly the most surprising part of the whole situation to me is that GCC have left such a large source of income lying on the table for so many years. |
