There seems to be a lot of misconceptions (and the charity in question relies on them) that "homeless" equates with rough sleeping. It doesn't. The Simon Community, who actually go out onto the streets every evening, estimate that Glasgow usually has between four to ten rough sleepers, all of whom are there by choice. There is hostel accomodation for anyone who needs it.
