| Comment | Adding to what's already been said but these folk have thousands in the bank and only seem to moan on social media.
The posted almost daily that they needed somewhere dry to host the soup kitchen that wasn't the bridge under central, so they were given the space down by the river to setup where it's sheltered and dry. Now after a few weeks they realised that they are not in the centre of the city so are wanting somewhere different.
It's not about feeding mouths with them it's about visibility. They want a shop unit on a main shopping street. They could rent out a unit for years with the funds they have (most of their food is donated and time is volunteered) but they choose not to.
They could be given a heated building somewhere in southside or gallowgate and they wouldn't accept it because it's not in the middle of town. |
