There isn't a lot of safer segregated routes actually in the city centre but the route I would take depends on what end of Bath Street you are working.
The issue is that area of the city centre is like a small mountain and in order to get around it you should carefully choose the streets that you use. West Campbell Street for example is to be avoided.
In essence the easiest way to get to Bath Street without a struggle is to head up West Nile Street then left up Sauchiehall Street precinct then left onto Bath Street at the most appropriate point.
If you work at the Charing Cross end it is pointless to cycle right up the hill on Bath Street only to cycle back down again. It's just a big mound. |
