Getting on at Haymerket can often be a struggle as the train comes from Waverley packed full. One wee trick is to get on one of the express trains at Haymarket and go back to Waverley. The train immediately turns round and for a short while you have an empty train where you can get the seat of your choice, lol.
There are no ticket checks between Haymarket and Waverley and even if there was just say you got on the wrong train. |
