Comment | "For now" is nonsense. These systems are already eating themselves alive consuming AI generated content to train themselves, leading to issues in output, which has led to large swathes of employees in the third world being employed to actually operate "AI" behind the scenes. Theyre just a modern version of the [Mechanical Turk](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mechanical_Turk). Each version of something like ChatGPT is shown to be a clown show very quickly.
And how are you seriously gonna sell producing the entire infrastructure of a project through a system that can be predictable in its output? Its a huge security risk. People will absolutely study these systems and figure out how they operate, what they put out, and understand where the cracks may be in things constructed through them.
"AI" is a joke and will never be a good replacement for humans. The computational power required is insane, the humans needed to check its output, and even PROVIDE the output to fake it working, are just astronomical in their number.
The expense to train a system of your own won't be justified in comparison to just employing a bunch of actual humans. Using another companies systems to produce your own is a security and business risk that doesn't outweigh the convenience.
Its a gimmick like blockchain that won't really go anywhere without huge damage to society and business. |
