Smokin Fox beside central is my go to spot for "decent but not fancy" - it's a nice wee pub that's usually busy even on weeknights, and the back area is a sort-of restaraunt area (that takes reservations) that does very good food for for probably £20-25 each (so you just about get a pint each aswell) - can't see on their social medias if they have a christmas menu, but their normal menu is regular pub food |
