You could post on some of the local homeless charity facebook pages, I've seen a few people post on the Help The Homeless Glasgow facebook page looking for loved ones in similar circumstances. As others have said also contact Simon Community Project and leave contact details for your friend to reach you, sometimes people can be in a bad place and not want to reach out to friends and loved ones.
