You can get cerium oxide buffing done to remove scratches from the side/rear windows as they are toughened glass, but windscreens are laminated glass and would just crack due to the heat involved.
Check your insurance policy. If you have windscreen cover then hit the screen with a brick through the night and phone in for a claim. Windscreen excess is usually only £80 to £100 or so and doesn't affect your premium. |
