| Comment | Planes take off and land in the same direction, into wind. At Glasgow this will change from runway 05 to runway 23 depending on wind direction.
Also when the wind speed is higher it doesn’t necessarily mean less throttle will be used, pilots will require throttle to control the aircraft speed as the wind gusts and varies.
