Most of these courses are predatory, they aim to get people to spend redundancy money in the hope of getting a trade.
As another poster mentioned the most popular ones are plumbing/gas engineering, not mentioning that you can’t be qualified in either without a recognised apprenticeship.
Tiling to be fair doesn’t require a recognised apprenticeship but it would take a long time to learn it properly.
There was a place in Edinburgh that done a training course that had a good reputation but it took around 6-9 months if I remember right. |
