| Comment | I'm pretty much in the same boat, moved a couple of times and into a new area and don't know many people, I've learned there one simple basic trick to this and that is just simply get yourself out there, there must be groups/clubs of some sort. My example, joined a cold water swimming group from that group we run 5k, from that joined a local running group and from that chatting and socialising with people. Just find something you enjoy, try and find a group near you, or start one and don't think about the rest, it will come.
